A simple app that displays today's date on your phone's status bar as an icon and notification.
Now, at a glance find out what today's date is. The app keeps a notification icon on the status bar so that today's date is always shown.
> Can I remove the date notification?
Also with the date icon in the status bar, the date also shows in the notification area. This is because, in Android the icon can be shown in the status bar only if there is a notification present. So currently it's not possible to remove the notification if you want to to keep seeing the date icon. We will make changes in the future if Android supports showing icon without showing notification.
> Why no color?
Android removed colors in notification since Android 5 (Lollipop) back in 2014. So it is now not possible to display anything in the notification with color. The apps that do show colors in the notifications are published for older versions of Android and hasn't been updated for years. If those app push and update, they will also not be able to show colors in their status bar icons.
